Bartłomiej Gajos

Historian Bartłomiej Gajos earned his MA degree in History at the University of Warsaw and is currently a PhD student at the Institute of History Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2017 he has been a research fellow at the Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding, specialising in the history of the Soviet Union with a particular interest in the period of revolutions and the civil war (1917–1922) and the politics of memory. He is also the Editorial Assistant of “Novaya Polsha” journal. Funded by the Kościuszko Foundation he was a visiting fellow for the 2020 Spring term at Harvard University in the Davis Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies. In 2020 he was also awarded a START scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science. He also collaborated with the Polish Institute of International Affairs on the Polish Diplomatic Documents series.
